Send this to your husband 🤍 Most husbands want Send this to your husband 🤍

Most husbands want to help during labor... they just need to know how.

Did you know that feeling supported during labor can help increase oxytocin—the hormone that powers contractions, encourages labor progression, and helps you feel calm, connected, and safe?

God designed birth to be a team effort. While your body does the work of labor, your husband’s presence, touch, encouragement, and support can help create an environment where oxytocin can flow more freely.

The best part? He doesn’t need to be a birth expert.

These simple partner-assisted comfort measures and labor positions can help him feel confident, involved, and ready to support you every step of the way.

✨ Positions & Comfort Measures to Practice Together:
• Shoulder Press Massage
• Double Hip Squeeze
• Lower Back Stroke
• Abdominal Lift & Support (use rebozo or long fabric)
• Shake the Apple (use rebozo or long fabric)
• Slow Dance
• Baby Cradle
• Seated Deep Squat
• Seated Forward Lean
• Dangle Squat
• Deep Squat Sway

✨ Why they work:
• Encourage movement and comfort during labor
• Support optimal baby positioning
• Promote oxytocin through connection, touch, and reassurance
• Help you feel safe, calm, and supported
• Give your husband a clear and meaningful role during birth

If your husband has ever said, “I don’t know how to help,” save this post and practice these together before labor begins. A little preparation can go a long way in helping both of you feel more confident when the big day arrives.

“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor.” — Ecclesiastes 4:9 🤍

Save this for your birth prep 📌 and share with your husband 📩

I get it. Since motherhood, “quiet time” doesn I get it. Since motherhood, “quiet time” doesn’t look how I always want it to. I dream of the early hours when the sun is just beginning to shine through, with my Bible, soft, soaking worship music, colorful highlighters, and a warm beverage in my hand that I don’t have to reheat.

Even today, I woke up past my alarm and made it to the virtual meeting set up by my boss in a blink of an eye. Sadly, my quiet time got pushed aside.

And even though I didn’t get to my set apart time,

He met me.

And He can meet you too.

His presence isn’t reserved for mountaintops, church pews, or perfectly planned devotional times. He is just as present in the waiting room, at the kitchen sink, during a late-night feeding, or even in the labor room.

Instead of waiting for the perfect time to spend with Him, simply look for Him and invite Him into the moment you’re already in.

I promise, you’ll find Him thre right beside you. 🤍

“Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.” — Psalm 1139-7-8

Dear Father, Today I bring You my weariness, my h Dear Father,

Today I bring You my weariness, my hopes, my desires, and everything in between. When things feel too heavy to carry, help me remember that I’m not doing this pregnancy or childbirth alone. You walk with me, You strengthen me, and You hold my heart steady in the known and unknown.

You say, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28). I come to you and give you all my weary heart and burdens. Thank you for Your rest You give me.

Help me not just get through the pregnancy but grow in You through it. Let Your Shalom quiet the noise. I trust You with the moments I don’t understand or expect. Thank You for being my Rock and my strength.

In Jesus’ name, Amen 🙏
