Abba, at 21 weeks, I praise You for my baby and fo Abba, at 21 weeks, I praise You for my baby and for myself, knowing we are fearfully and wonderfully made. You knit me together intentionally and skillfully, preparing my body for the birth of this precious child. You have intricately formed this baby, readying him/her for birth, the first breath, and the life You ordained for him/her in Your book from the foundations of the earth.

I pray all pregnancy test results come back confirming the health and perfection of the baby You have been creating.

I declare that baby knows and believes that he/she is fearfully and wonderfully made. Guard his/her mind, Holy Spirit, from doubting and believing lies of worthlessness and not being enough. Remind him/her how valuable he/she is to You!

In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen. 🙏

Let me know in the comments if you are 21 weeks pregnant so we can pray with you! If you want to pray along with me, be on the lookout for my upcoming 42-week +6 weeks postpartum guided prayer journal for pregnancy with special prayers based on your baby’s development in the womb.

I remember being a first-time mom and thinking I n I remember being a first-time mom and thinking I needed to have all the answers.

But as I’ve grown in motherhood and in my faith, I’ve realized there’s one truth I want every one of my children to know:

“Our God forever and ever. He will guide us forever.” (Psalm 48:13–14)

There will be seasons when I don’t know what to do. Times when life feels uncertain. Moments in pregnancy I don’t know what to do or when my children have questions I can’t answer.

But I can keep pointing them to the One who never changes.

If my children grow up knowing that God is faithful, present, and will always lead them, I’ll know I’ve given them a powerful truth that lasts far beyond me.

What’s one truth you’re intentionally passing on to the next generation? 🤍

Backstory: My newborn had been crying around the s Backstory: My newborn had been crying around the same time every evening. I changed my diet, tried all the baby massages, different positions, and everything I knew to do. But eventually, I ran out of solutions.

Watching my baby cry in pain and not knowing how to help her made me feel sad and so helpless as a mom.

When I didn’t know what else to do, I did the only thing I knew left—I prayed. 🙏

As I turned to God, His peace filled the room. My baby settled, and my heart did too.

That moment reminded me that no circumstance is too small or too big to bring to God. He cares about our postpartum, weary hearts, our babies, and the moments that leave us feeling helpless.

If you’re walking through long nights with a crying baby, I’m praying that His peace surround you and your baby🤍
