Yom Kippur is a beautiful day to pause, reflect, a Yom Kippur is a beautiful day to pause, reflect, and be reminded to let go of the extra baggage we’ve been carrying — even during pregnancy.

From resentment, fear, guilt, lies, idols, unforgiveness, shame, to anything not of God’s...things we’ve held onto that God is asking us to release and surrender to Him so He can purify us.

Today is a good day to forgive others, ask for forgiveness, and bring our own hearts honestly before God to be cleansed.

As children of God, we can have confidence that we don’t have to carry the weight of our sins and burdens. We place it at the feet of Jesus and trust that His blood cleanses and makes us new.

So today, I release and let go of anything that is not of Him.

I release what I cannot control.
I give up any idols I’ve been chasing after and choose to only chase after Yahweh.
I forgive who I need to forgive.
I ask forgiveness for the wrong choices I’ve made and those I did not love.
I surrender any fear, anxiety, unbelief, and shame I’ve been carrying.
And I make room for His peace and His cleansing through the blood of Jesus.

Because pregnancy is already a season of becoming — and what a beautiful thing it is to enter motherhood with a lighter heart, open hands, and faith in the One who holds both us and our babies. 🤍

Have a meaningful Yom Kippur. May we release, repent, forgive, and return to Him.

Dear Father, Renew my heart and give me a steadf Dear Father,

Renew my heart and give me a steadfast spirit today that is focused and abiding on and within You. When thoughts or ideas enter my mind that are not of You during pregnancy and labor, help me recognize them, take them captive, and dwell on your truths instead. “We take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” (2 Corinthians 10:5)

Holy Spirit, teach me Your truth and wisdom so I can keep my thoughts focused on things above. Show me how to dwell on what is true, honorable, pure, lovely, and deserving of praise. Let Your Word influence how I think, feel, and respond during maternity and motherhood. Keep my heart centered on Your will, Your truth, and Your love for the baby and me.

In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏

Lord, at week 29, I thank You and praise You for s Lord, at week 29, I thank You and praise You for strengthening the baby’s muscles and bones this week. Your Word declares that You are our strength, our shield, and You help us. I am grateful for strengthening the baby’s bones and muscles and for protecting each of them.

May my child’s spirit, soul, and body grow strong through Your power and love.

I call on You, Lord, to strengthen both baby and me in our body, soul, and spirit when we feel weary or weak before, during, and after birth. We depend on You as our strength and protection. I trust You to help us throughout this pregnancy, during labor, and postpartum.

In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.🙏

Yahweh, at week 28, I am in awe of everything You Yahweh, at week 28, I am in awe of everything You are doing to develop the baby’s mind.

I pray that the minds of the baby and I will be filled with Your wisdom and understanding, transformed by renewing our minds through Jesus Christ, and that You will guide our thoughts. May our minds receive godly dreams and visions, and may we dream and think big through the Holy Spirit.

May our minds be a vibrant landscape where anything is possible with You, God. I trust You, God, to make the impossible happen in my child’s life and at the birth. May Your glory be revealed through us!

In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen. 🙏
