His promise for any pregnant and laboring mama:

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” 📖 Isaiah‬ ‭41‬:‭10‬ ‭

Invite Him to strengthen you…help you… and hold you…You are never laboring alone.

This artwork was created as a visual reminder for your birth space that the Prince of Peace is present in the room is strengthening you and holding you. You do not need to fear!

Christian mamas, birth was never meant to be a sol Christian mamas, birth was never meant to be a solo assignment. There’s a reason God said, “It is not good for man to be alone.”

And husbands, this is one of the most foundational moments you’ll ever step into as a leader in your home.

There’s a saying in the birth world, and I’m probably butchering it, but it goes something like this:

The same love that made the baby is the same love it takes to get the baby out.💕

Here’s how you can prepare together:
✨ Take a birth class and learn the stages of labor✨ Communicate: talk through preferences and a birth plan ahead of time✨ Practice comfort measures so you feel confident✨ Pray together both before and during labor✨ Discuss how he can advocate and support while she focuses inward

Husbands: during labor, you can support your wife by:
✨ Offer her hydration✨ Remind her to use the restroom every hour or so✨ Massage, kiss, dance, touch, hug her to keep labor progressing✨ Protect the environment to maintain peace and comfort for her.

When contractions are strong and she’s working hard, she shouldn’t be answering questions or managing the room. She should be breathing, focusing, and resting in God’s peace.

Husbands: your calm presence matters.Your reassuring voice and hands matter.Your prayers matter.

Birth is a team effort. And when Christ is at the center, it becomes even more powerful.

Save this and start preparing together 🤍

First-time expecting mama, If you didn’t know th First-time expecting mama,
If you didn’t know this, let me give you some tips to prepare you for a hospital birth.

When you arrive at the hospital in active labor, staff often need paperwork and medical history. Active labor is not the time for you to be recalling insurance details or medical history between contractions.
But here’s some tips for a better outcome:

✨ Pre-register online ahead of time to breeze through check-in.

✨ Stay home laboring comfortably as long as you feel safe—your body is beautifully timed by God. Use a contraction timer to help know when the best time is to go to the hospital. Most timers follow the 5-1-1 rule.

✨ Let your husband, doula, or birth partner handle the forms and questions so you can turn inward: breathe deeply, rest between contractions, and rest in God’s perfect peace.

✨Be prepared that labor may slow down when you arrive at the hospital. This doesn’t mean something is wrong with your body. Dim the lights, create a quiet environment, and be loved on by your birth partner to stimulate the hormones that help labor progress.

Preparation ahead of time protects your peace in the moment. Make a plan and talk about it with your birth team before you go into labor. Don’t be afraid to ask questions so you can make informed decisions.
