Heavenly Father, at 31 weeks, I praise You for the Heavenly Father, at 31 weeks, I praise You for the incredible work You are doing in the baby’s brain this week, forming billions of connections.

I pray Your hand is on my child’s mind not only during development but throughout his/her lifetime. Just as the baby’s spirit is connected with You, I pray that the mind will also be connected to You. May he/she have the mind of Christ, being taught by the Spirit, understanding spiritual truths, and treasuring the things of God’s Spirit.

I declare that my child will be a branch connected to Christ, the Vine, abiding in Him daily, and He will be within him/her. He/She will bear much fruit and be able to do all things through Christ.

Holy Spirit, counsel me in the days leading up to birth, reminding me that You are in me and I am in You. Through You, I can do anything, including bearing the fruit of my womb in Your power, love, and joy.

In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen 🙏

Abba, at week 30, thank You for maturing the baby’s brain, which allows the baby to have controlled movement. Just as the brain guides the baby’s movements, I pray that You, Father, will guide the baby’s soul (mind, will, and emotions) and spirit. I declare that the Holy Spirit will guide this child’s life, and the fruits of the Spirit will be evident.

I ask the Holy Spirit to guide my spirit, soul, and body before, during, and after labor. Give me patience as I wait for the baby’s arrival, especially as the day approaches. Grant me self-control to watch what goes in and out of my mouth, bringing life. May I be faithful to Your Word in times of uncertainty. May I show kindness and goodness to my husband, family, and birth team. Let the fruits of love, joy, and peace be evidence of Your glory in the birthing room and upon my child. I give You all praise and all glory!

In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.🙏

Yom Kippur is a beautiful day to pause, reflect, a Yom Kippur is a beautiful day to pause, reflect, and be reminded to let go of the extra baggage we’ve been carrying — even during pregnancy.

From resentment, fear, guilt, lies, idols, unforgiveness, shame, to anything not of God’s...things we’ve held onto that God is asking us to release and surrender to Him so He can purify us.

Today is a good day to forgive others, ask for forgiveness, and bring our own hearts honestly before God to be cleansed.

As children of God, we can have confidence that we don’t have to carry the weight of our sins and burdens. We place it at the feet of Jesus and trust that His blood cleanses and makes us new.

So today, I release and let go of anything that is not of Him.

I release what I cannot control.
I give up any idols I’ve been chasing after and choose to only chase after Yahweh.
I forgive who I need to forgive.
I ask forgiveness for the wrong choices I’ve made and those I did not love.
I surrender any fear, anxiety, unbelief, and shame I’ve been carrying.
And I make room for His peace and His cleansing through the blood of Jesus.

Because pregnancy is already a season of becoming — and what a beautiful thing it is to enter motherhood with a lighter heart, open hands, and faith in the One who holds both us and our babies. 🤍

Have a meaningful Yom Kippur. May we release, repent, forgive, and return to Him.

Dear Father, Renew my heart and give me a steadf Dear Father,

Renew my heart and give me a steadfast spirit today that is focused and abiding on and within You. When thoughts or ideas enter my mind that are not of You during pregnancy and labor, help me recognize them, take them captive, and dwell on your truths instead. “We take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” (2 Corinthians 10:5)

Holy Spirit, teach me Your truth and wisdom so I can keep my thoughts focused on things above. Show me how to dwell on what is true, honorable, pure, lovely, and deserving of praise. Let Your Word influence how I think, feel, and respond during maternity and motherhood. Keep my heart centered on Your will, Your truth, and Your love for the baby and me.

In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏
