40 Bible Verses of God’s Peace for Labor

Before I gave birth to each of my three children, I spent time engrossed in the Word of God to build up my spirit in preparation. Just as I was preparing for baby physically working out and attempting to eat all the right things, I mentally and spiritually wanted to renew my mind to God’s promises in the Bible. I desired joyful delivery for my baby, and I knew God’s Word would comfort my spirit in the times that would feel unknown.

For each childbirth, I found it reassuring to remind myself of having a relationship with the Prince of Peace and walking in His Sholom for labor and delivery. I’ve gathered 40 of my most cherished scriptures just for you, Mama. I hope they bring you joy and inspiration! Write these on index cards, make your own cute cards to hang around your birth space, or find these on the Glorywomb app and save them to your own collection.

Meditate on them, speak them out loud to build up your faith, and rest in God’s promises knowing we have a loving Father who never sleeps nor slumbers and always watches over His children.
