40 Bible Verses of God’s Peace for Labor

Before I gave birth to each of my three children, I spent time engrossed in the Word of God to build up my spirit in preparation. Just as I was preparing for baby physically working out and attempting to eat all the right things, I mentally and spiritually wanted to renew my mind to God’s promises in the Bible. I desired joyful delivery for my baby, and I knew God’s Word would comfort my spirit in the times that would feel unknown.

For each childbirth, I found it reassuring to remind myself of having a relationship with the Prince of Peace and walking in His Sholom for labor and delivery. I’ve gathered 40 of my most cherished scriptures just for you, Mama. I hope they bring you joy and inspiration! Meditate on them, speak them out loud to build up your faith, and rest in God’s promises knowing we have a loving Father who never sleeps nor slumbers and always watches over His children.
